Our rides

• The Monuments

  Our five monuments are what the ColVelo calendar revolves around every year. Kicking off with the 243km Ronde Van Anglia in early April and finishing in August with the 220km East Anglian Echapee, we offer monthly rides totalling over 1250km.

  These are truly epic!

  

• Club Rides

  Rolling out every Saturday, our standard club rides typically range between 70km and 160km with a pace around 28kmh but dictated by the riders, and a strict no drop policy.

  Of course, there’s always a chance for at least one coffee stop!

  

• Coffee & Canvas

  Every Sunday we run our ever-popular Coffee & Canvas rides.

  These are between 50-70km, with a relaxed pace of 24kmh, and always featuring a stop for a coffee and cake at one of our many favourite haunts throughout North Essex and Suffolk.

  

• GraVelo

  The original and best GraVelo!

  At ColVelo we’ve been seeking out the best of the local ribinou, tracks, trails and bridle paths for our members enjoyment. With plenty of local knowledge, we manage to mix routes ranging from 30km to 120km and many more planned!

  

• Dawn Patrol

  Extra miles for the early risers

  Dawn Patrol heads off Saturday morning as the sun rises to grab an extra hour in the saddle before the main club ride. Finishing at Crouch Street Bakes in time for a coffee, and with enough time to join the Saturday club ride.

  

• Trips away

  Throughout the year we offer multi-day cycling adventures a bit further afield...

  Open exclusively to ColVelo members, we've explored the far north of the Scottish Highlands, the hills of north Wales, the fire roads of Kielder Forest, and the southern Spanish Mountains.
